THE NEXT 10

You’ve spent years building your career.

What are you building with the next 10?

Private mentorship with Howard Stribbell for accomplished education leaders who want to get more from their experience, career, money, health and life.

YOU’RE ALREADY SUCCESSFUL.

That’s Not The Problem.

You’ve built a career. You’ve accumulated experience, responsibility, relationships and earning power. You’re probably good at what you do.

But at some point, becoming better at your current job isn’t the most important question anymore. The questions get bigger.

What do I actually want the next ten years of my life to look like?

That’s what The Next 10 is about.
Am I being paid what I’m actually worth?
‍
Do I want another senior leadership position, or something different?
‍
Why am I earning good money but not building wealth as quickly as I expected?
‍
Could my experience create income beyond my salary?

Should I be writing, speaking, consulting, advising, investing or building something of my own?

Am I physically capable of sustaining the life and career I’m building?

What am I sacrificing to be successful?

YOUR EXPERIENCE

Should Be Working
Harder For You

Most experienced leaders have spent 15, 20 or 25 years accumulating knowledge, relationships and professional credibility. Yet many are still getting most of the financial return from all of that experience through one thing: their salary. I think there’s a better question to ask: Are you getting the return you should be getting from everything you’ve built?
‍
A better-negotiated contract might be worth another $10,000, $20,000 or $30,000 a year. One advisory role could create an entirely new income stream. Building your professional reputation outside your organization could create opportunities you can’t see today. Starting to invest seriously several years earlier could materially change your financial future. Getting into better physical condition could change how you perform and how you experience your life. Avoiding one bad career, business or financial decision could be worth more than all of those combined.
‍
I won’t promise you a particular financial return. But I will help you look for where you’re leaving value on the table.

YOUR NEXT 10

Five areas. A bigger return.

We'll work across the areas that matter most to you.

Career & Compensation

Your next role. Your current role. Your contract. Your compensation. Knowing when to stay, when to negotiate and when to leave.

The objective isn’t simply another promotion. It’s creating more options.

Money & Wealth

There’s a difference between earning well and building wealth.

We’ll look at how you’re using the money you’re earning, what you’re building outside your salary and where your financial habits may not yet match your earning power.

Your Experience

You know things that have value.
‍
Could that become consulting? Advisory work? A board position? Writing? Speaking? A product? Equity? A business?
‍
We’ll explore how your experience could start working for you rather than only for your employer.

Health & Capacity

Your professional ambitions require physical capacity.

We’ll work on fitness, nutrition, accountability and the habits that allow you to perform without allowing your work to consume everything else.

Relationships & Life

Success has trade-offs.

We’ll talk about the parts of life that don’t normally appear in an executive coaching conversation, including relationships, boundaries, identity, family, time and what you actually want your life to feel like.

Why ME?

Real experience.
Real perspective.

I've spent almost three decades in international education - as a teacher, school leader, Head of School, Supervisor, Board Chair, advisor, owner, investor, entrepreneur, author and speaker.

I've made good decisions. I've made expensive mistakes.
And I've learned a lot about what it takes to bulld a meaningful career and a fulfilling life.

I'm not here to give you theory.  I'm here to bring everything I've learned to the decisions you're making now.

THIS WON’T BE COMFORTABLE ALL THE TIME.

I’m not interested in wasting your time or mine.

“I’ll be in your corner. That doesn’t mean I’ll always be on your side.”

The Next 10 is for people who are serious about doing something meaningful with the next decade of their lives—not simply talking about it. I won’t always tell you what you want to hear. I’ll challenge your assumptions, call out the excuses, ask uncomfortable questions, and hold you accountable to the commitments you make. Because this isn’t really about checking off a list of goals over the next ten years; it’s about asking a much bigger question: What could your next ten years actually become?
‍
Your career might become bigger than you imagined. You might earn considerably more and finally turn income into wealth. You might build something of your own, become stronger and healthier, write the book, take the risk, leave the job, repair the relationship, build the business, or pursue the opportunity you’ve been talking yourself out of. I don’t know what your version looks like yet—and that’s part of the work.
‍
But if you’re going to invest six months working with me, I’m going to push you to find out. To think bigger. To get honest about what you want. And, most importantly, to do something about it.
Howard Stribbell

SIX MONTHS. DIRECT ACCESS.

The Next 10 is intentionally small.

This isn’t a course or cohort. It’s a six-month private mentorship relationship. We’ll have two scheduled private conversations each month, but our work isn’t limited to those conversations. You’ll have direct access to me between sessions when the real decisions happen. A contract lands on your desk. You’re considering another position. Someone approaches you about an investment. You’re thinking about starting something. You’re struggling with a relationship. Your fitness has slipped. You’re about to make a decision and want someone who knows you to challenge your thinking.
‍
That’s where this becomes different from occasional coaching. Over six months, I get to know you, your ambitions, your patterns, your strengths and your blind spots. You get someone in your corner.

SOMETIMES

Zoom Isn’t Enough.

Every private client has the opportunity to spend dedicated time with me at my home in Phuket during our six months together.

Three days. Two nights. No conference room. No packed agenda.
We’ll work through the things that matter, but we’ll also train, eat, recover and talk.
There’s a gym, pool, sauna and ice bath.  There are places to work and places to do absolutely nothing for a while. Some conversations will happen sitting across a table.

Others might happen over breakfast, during a workout or beside the pool. The point isn’t a retreat. It’s having enough time together to get beyond the surface.

Depending on timing and what would be most useful, the in-person experience could alternatively connect to one of my leadership retreats, conferences or professional events.

We’ll decide together what makes the most sense.

THE INVESTMENT

$1,500 USD per month for six months.

$9,000 total.

That’s a significant investment. It should be.

If six months together only leaves you feeling like you received $9,000 worth of coaching, I don’t think we’ve accomplished enough.

I want you to be able to point to better decisions, new opportunities, stronger habits and meaningful changes that have the potential to be worth multiples of what you invested.

LET'S TALK

Ready to explore what's possible?

Our first conversation isn't a sales pitch. We'll talk about where you are. where you're heading and where you might be leaving value on the table. If I think I can help, I'll tell you. If I don't, I'l tell you that too.
